Exploring Israel with abstract realism - Reimagining of a fish sculpture

The basis of my artwork comes from a public sculpture called "Fish that didn't want to be fish," which can be found in the "Story Garden" in my hometown of Holon. This sculpture was inspired by a children's story with the same title. The story tells the tale of a small fish that did not want to be a fish anymore and asked the ocean for help. The ocean granted the fish's wish by transforming it into different animals.

My art takes inspiration from this story and aims to transform the fish into clouds against a blue sky. I am using Stable Diffusion software to achieve this effect. By using a realism style, I want to enhance the interpretation of the story through my art. This style of art aims to make the viewer feel like they are witnessing a real-life event, bringing the story to life and making it more relatable.

Through my artwork, I want to highlight the theme of transformation and the desire to be something else. The story of the fish that did not want to be a fish is a powerful metaphor for the human experience of wanting to change and become something different. The transformation of the fish into clouds against a blue sky represents a sense of freedom and hope that can be found when one is true to themselves and follows their desires.
