Exploring Israel with abstract realism - Reimagining of a scooter

Hello and welcome to Exploring Israel with abstract realism¹ ²

I decided to use a photo of a public sculpture depicting a scooter as the subject of my artwork. I captured this image during my morning jog at the "Father of Amalia went to Australia" story garden. This beautiful garden is based on the books by Ashkol Nabo and tells the story of Amalia's adventures while her father is away in Australia.

My artistic exploration will focus on the scooter. In my hometown of Holon, electric scooters have become a popular mode of transportation. I want to examine the role of electricity in powering these scooters and the impact it has on our environment. Electricity is a powerful force that can be both beneficial and destructive, just like the electric scooters we see on the streets. Through my artwork, I hope to encourage reflection on the role of electricity in our lives and how we can use it responsibly.
